Jacksonville Youth Works, Inc. also known as JYWI is 501c3 Non-Profit Organization with the goal to educate, equip and empower the underserved and underprivileged communities. We focus on the ages of 15-24 years old however, we can serve the ages of 25 and up. We cater to the zip codes in the Urban Core communities (Jacksonville: 32202, 32204, 32206, 32208, 32209 and 32254). They will receive a hands-on career training program with employment preparedness and placement in fields such as Agriculture, Masonry, Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Home Healthcare Nursing, IT, Multimedia, Entrepreneurship and more. Youth Workforce Inc. plans to incorporate and promote overall Life Skills, Soft Job Skills, Mental Health Counseling, Mentoring, Financial Literacy and Housing to best serve the Community from a holistic approach.


JYWI's vision is to create paths to positive outlets through job creation, community revitalization and an overall shift of the mindset in members of the community. Our focus and passion is rooted in educating, equipping and empowering targeted individuals in society. Through this vision we will work to transform lives, revitalize communities and redefine the Urban Communities outlook.



JYWI's mission is to serve local communities through the pursuit of the following principles: Commitment, Responsibility, Possibility and Support. JYWI strives to direct Ex and Repeat offender youth to become productive members of society plus a strong commitment to promote Self-Respect, Pro-Social Friendship and a Renewed Sense of Hope.
